Valentines Day & the rest of the week
Sunday
We fellowshiped with friends that afternoon....the best part of it was Apples to Apples. ☺
Wednesday
Patrick started teaching Guitar lesson...in German! Hehehehe....now he can practice his German and make money!
Valentines day
Patrick came with this beautiful single red rose. I love these velvety roses. I gave Patrick that heart collage you saw at the beginning of the Series. ☺ He never saw it before!
My Valentine nails....awhile back I had accidentally bought crackling white....so it was a challenge. I acctually wanted a heart on my ring finger but it didn't work and I just worked with my mess and made what you see above. The heart on my pointer my mom helped me.
Before we went on the date I had Patrick and I take a few pictures in front of my piano. Here my two favorites.
We went on a double date with a couple from my church. Together we went to the Chinese restaurant. Patrick and I tried something new, shared the plate and both ended up super full! It was duck and chicken, with soybeans and the Chinese egg noodles. Yummy! As a pre-dish we ordered crab chips and spring rolls. I LOVE crab chips!
After wards we wanted to do to Starbucks but they were closed so we went to McDonalds. Here in Germany they have Mc Cafe....I never have ordered anything there but I was looking at what they had when Patrick said he wanted hot chocolate....I looked and they had WHITE hot chocolate. Of course we both wanted to try it. Patrick got the big and I got the regular sized. The hot chocolate was really rich but really good.
Isn't my boyfriend so handsome? I love that hat and now his new beard.....cute!
Friday
So it snowed over night again.....everything was white white white.....here is a clip of Paxton catching snow....I took some beautiful pictures which I'll share with you next week!
Various
The Giveaway was sent off too....I am excited for Morgan to get it!
While I was at the post office to send the Giveaway off I also picked up something I ordered a few weeks ago....a Calender of Patrick and me. I did one last year too and this one I got 70% off and only cost € 2.99 plus shipping! Its really beautiful and will be fun looking at last years memories every month.
Look what I have been collecting! I love these dishes and though finding
an entire new set can be a bit costly I saw an idea online that you can
collect various things and still goes well together....So what do you
think? Beautiful is it not?

Day Thirteen - Be a Hero...Babysit
My last suggestion on what you can do on Valentines day when you don't have a date is.....baby sit. This will not only give you something to do but make two people very very happy. Young parents just a little while ago were doing whatever they wanted, when they wanted but now....the kids are here and you can't leave them alone so....on Valentines for them. Sometimes they just don't want to bother someone or don't know anyone willing. So why not ask them!
Not only will they be able to show love to each other as a couple but you are showing love to those around you. In years to come you might be the happy parent that gratefully accepts the offer of the babysitter.
And we don't want babysitting to be to boring so I collected some ideas for Crafts you can do with the kids!

So what will you be doing this Valentine's day?
And remember tomorrow the Giveaway ends and there will be another Linkup!

Day Twelve- The Secret Admirer
Nope, I am not telling you you'll have a secret Admirer but you can act as one or maybe should I say more like a Secret Sister. Think real hard...... Is there someone who you could be a blessing to, that would at least expect something to come from you? A colleague at work? A classmate at school? Your next door neighbor? Your mean landlord? The mail man? These people can even be within your circle of friends.
Get something or just do something for them.....the key is for them to not know (at first) from who it is. It can be as simple as letter/ card to adding a little gift. Some ideas are flowers, chocolate, a candle, soap, a scrapbook pack......be creative. What could they like? What is something you enjoy giving?
Then try to think what would be the most creative way for them to get the gift. Sometimes its surprise enough to walk up to them and just hand them the gift with a smile and a "Happy Valentines Day!" another time you might want to leave it where they will find it....their desk, the bed, the car seat.
If you can....be their to watch! Smile and enjoy making someone else happy!

Day Eleven- Email a Forgotten Friend

OK, so maybe you didn't really forget them but we all have those email addresses in our inbox. You know, that girl you met at camp and wanted to stay in contact with?
Or maybe someone you used to write regular and life got in the way and
it just kinda dwindled out and you haven't written in ages? Maybe you
are just plainly bad at writing back and there are a quite a few emails
you haven't got to writing back....those are the people I am talking
about.
I want to encourage you to sign into your email and finally write them. I normally don't have problems writing people but I know many do. If you are thinking "I don't know what to write" I have a few ideas:
-You don't have to get too personal but tell them what you've been up to.
-Tell them about something you have accomplished lately. (School, crafting, sewing, a book you read, etc)
-Tell them about something you might have started
-Tell them generally about your family (if they know them)
- Its still the beginning of the year....ask them how their new year has been so far.
-Ask them questions.
-Write about a past memory you made together
-Send them a newer picture of yourself or something they might enjoy
-Tell them you were thinking of them
-Keep it personal
-Don't force it to be a long email but it is OK if it is!
All this can also be used with Facebook messaging. Some of you might have 200+ friends. Write someone you haven't really been in touch with. See if everything is OK.
I have been thinking who I can write and my list gets longer and longer. Over the course of this week I need to write one or two emails a day and tell these people hello. ☺
