5 Office Space Ideas

With school/college starting....days will be spent sitting at a desk. So shouldn't it be a great space to be...to make work more fun!?

Closet to Office Space
I totally love this idea for many reasons. One, its just plain cute....or maybe it's just the color & decoration. ☺ Two, the idea of creating a fun cozy workspace with more wall space than you really have....I love wall space. Three, if the desk gets messy (mine does...is...) all you have to do is close the door and .... it's clean.

Bright Vintage Desk
I love bright windows....natural light just "lightens" the mood..... The vintage style is very comfortable and easy to do. Get your favorite color paint....and some white paint and start at it. Give your office space a new vintage look.
oh, hello friend: you are loved.: inspire: lovely.

Simple Office
I love the simplicity of this space. The plain white color makes it light and inviting. The little open box-shelves keeps things neatly arranged and organized.

Fun Collage
School work can be pretty boring so why not make your work place more fun? I love nature and birds so this fun collage really speaks to me but you can do whatever you want. What theme would YOU choose?

Structured and Organized
Some need prefect organization to concentrate and think. I like how this desk has a place for everything.....but everything pulls together. You can easily accomplish this look by using what you have and black spray paint...or white...or navy...or what color would you choose?

Two {Custom} Blog Designs

Today I wanted to share with you two blogs I designed last month. Both ladies were awesome to work with and gave me some new experiences working with & getting to know total strangers....and decorate their home on the internet.

Savvy Working Gal was very open for ideas. After giving me a few other blogs as examples I came up with this design which she loved right away. After a choice of about 5 colors she decided for this purple blue design.

Mary-Andering Creatively wanted something that would match her love for writing and her love for roses. I decided to use my photography skills in the process and with a bit of imagination, old books, pink roses and red nail polish I had a great header and colors to work with.

You can get a Custom look for $50.....or a fun pre-made design for only $25!

♫ I Know God Makes No Mistakes

At our Church Camp Patrick and I sang this song at our last service. We are singing it in German but I have written the beautiful and thought provoking words bellow.

Feel free to download or pin the quote picture.

Verse 1
My life I give to you, O Lord;
Use me, I pray.
May I glorify your precious name
In all I do and say.
Let me trust you in the valley dark,
As well as in the light,
Knowing you will always lead me;
Your will is always right.
Verse 2
And when someday in heaven above
I see his dear face,
May I then be counted faithful
As a runner in this race.
But now I’m trusting in the Savior
To show me the way.
In his righteousness he guides me,
As I seek to please him day by day.
Chorus
I know God makes no mistakes,
He leads in every path I take
Along the way that’s leading me to home.
Though at times my heart would break,
There’s a purpose in every change he makes.
That others would see my life and know
That God makes no mistakes.

Leave a link to your favorite song that encourages you through hard times!

What We've Been Doing

See entire outfit here.
If feels like I haven't written a post in forever. I truly miss it but this blog is a hobby right now and sadly I have more important things that I should be working on. My head is FULL of ideas on what I can blog about....I just need someone to write it & promote it for me. Hahahaha. ☺ Anyone interested?

So what's been happening?

► After getting back I have been doing school, writing papers, finish reading a GIGANTIC book, teaching presentations....

►I only had a bit over a week left to get everything done....but thankfully they gave me an extension.

►Patrick is having to move out of the house he's "sitting" so we helped get everything cleaned up before the family comes back.

►We've been enjoying the show Hogan's Heros. Love the incidents & humor! ☺

►Patrick did really good but... did not pass the German security test. Please continue to pray as we look for classes he can take to help him pass it, Lord willing, next month.

►Do you like dreaming of your future home? Or enjoy interior decorating or... Well, I found this free "Homestyler" online that you can do your home/ room in 2D and 3D

►I've been talking, planning & praying about different decisions that will effect the future....senior year, working?, student teaching, graduation,...

► What have you been up too?

Until next time...what style of posts do you like best?
→DIY  →devotional  →Tutorials  →something else...comment bellow!

PS: Even if I don't answer you comments lately...I do read them & appreciate them greatly!!

The Beauty of Pracht

Today I want to share with you some of my favorite pictures in and around Pracht, Germany. The place we stayed at was very rural....and just beautiful. In the evenings, away from all the people it would get DEATHLY silent...all you'd hear are the crickets....soooo peaceful.

** 3 Pictures were taken by a teenage friend...and I had to share it!

Which one is your favorite?

Schloss Syan

After the Butterfly House we went to look at the Beautiful Palace Syan that was just near by. This beautiful palace started out as a simple baracks for the soldiers watching the Castle on the top of the hill. Later it was bought by a prince and renovated to be a sweet home for his beautiful Russian bride.

It stood proud and unharmed through both world wars....but 3 days before the end of WWII a German group blew up a near by bridge which destroyed the home. The family was now homeless. MANY years later the family was funded to rebuild the palace to its previous beauty. Now it is home to 2 museums, a cafe and office for the Prince (we actually got to see him!).

Wouldn't it be grand to live in a place like that?
