DIY- Aluminum Card Guard

You've heard how the new cards are easier to steal your identity from. It's easier to shop but it's also easier for crooks with the right tools to walk past you and get your name, card information, etc. My mom got a new card and instead of going out and buying a new card guard....I made one for her.
You will need:
Foil
A simple card guard
Normal tape
Washi tape
This was pretty simple and fun to make.

Do you use aluminum card guards?

I Found Three New Houses

Nope, I am not moving just yet but I did find these three beautiful birdhouses....in someone's trash! My mom and I were walking outside one evening and it was junk day....the next morning the junk would be picked up....I have found some cool things in other people's trash but these beauties are a treasure!

In which of these houses would you want to live? ☺

What I've Been Seeing

Nature is so beautiful....and it brings me so much joy!
Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Sorry for my posts being so scarce.....seems that way at least. I have a lot I want to get done before going to my churches trip in the beginning of August. ☺ I have a bunch of ideas for posts...just don't have the time to get them published and afterwards sharing them on social media & link ups. #sad

If you enjoy my modesty posts, please, follow Feminine Modesty & tell your friends to follow! ☺ I even have a FM Facebook page!
Thankfully I took quite a few outfit pictures before busyness set in....so follow so you don't miss any of my outfits!

So tell me, have you planned a vacation? Where to?

Sewing a Skirt for my Purse

Yep, you read it right....a skirt for my purse
Remember me telling you about wanting the skirt-purse from Thirty-One? And then remember the picture when I got it for Christmas?

The reason I wanted it was so I can have a "different" purse without having to switch my stuff from one purse to another and I knew I could make these skirts myself and really have the perfect look!

Yesterday I sat down, started planning, cutting and sewing....and look what came out!

Do you know about Thirty-One

I like their stuff & actually will be hosting an online party next week. If you are interested in ordering TELL ME!! ☺

White Unto Harvest

John 4:35
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
The fields are white unto harvest
But O, the labourers are so few
So Lord, I give myself to help the reaping
To gather precious souls unto You

My house is full, but my field is empty, who will go and work for me today?
It seems my children all want to stay around my table
But no one wants to work in my field, no one wants to work in my field.

Push away from the table, then look out through the window pane
Just beyond the house of plenty lies a field of golden grain
And it's white unto harvest, oh, but the reapers where are they?
There in the house, oh, can't the children hear the Father sadly say

Handel's Messiah

Like I said a few days ago I played the violin in the Handel's Messiah performance my school did. Many worked nights....the kids have been working on it since October. We had musicians come to help...one even flew in from England. Many were nervous wrecks.....but its done and everyone did really well.

Friday the only sang about 5 songs from the Messiahs because we had the graduation as well. My "adopted" little sister, Grace, graduated.....can't believe it's already been 7 years for me!!
Saturday we did the entire thing.....solos and all. Some solos were sung by teachers & friends....others were sung by one child or a group of students.....everyone did exceptionally well.

Enjoy the pictures and videos bellow:

See Patrick?

A girl from my church, who plays really well played with us. DANKE Laia!

Have you every been able to sing or play in something classic or well known?
