DIY- Aluminum Card Guard

You've heard how the new cards are easier to steal your identity from. It's easier to shop but it's also easier for crooks with the right tools to walk past you and get your name, card information, etc. My mom got a new card and instead of going out and buying a new card guard....I made one for her.
You will need:
Foil
A simple card guard
Normal tape
Washi tape
This was pretty simple and fun to make.

Do you use aluminum card guards?

**If you don't know what it is see comments. ☺

  1. I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. It's cute, but I have never heard of this before. Is it a European thing?

    1. Oh! You use these in the US too. Many of the newer cards can easily be scanned by walking by with a simple gadget. Crooks can steal your name and card number. Aluminum stops this because the gadget cannot scan through it. This way noone can steal your indendity. Normally you can get a whole aluminum card wallet...but my mom only needed one for her bank card. ☺
