Refashion: Plain to Pretty

Here's how I did it:
.) Cut out your neckline....to get it even fold it in half and cut. (We are going to ruffle it so it needs to be cut out wider & lower than you want it)

.)  Use a T-shirt  to see the approximate size....

.) Cut the top and the bottom  till you reach the part that would be under the arms.

.)  Now continue to cut the back....but not the front...we want the front to be looser.

.) now fold some pleats in the front of the collar and THEN fold it over...pin it. Pin the sides....now sew.

.) When adding the sleeves....put the seam of the sleeve on the seam of the side......start pinning....the extra material can be pinned in fold as seen above.

.) To make the ruffle....cut a few strips from the material cut off the side.... Set the sewing machines on the highest stitch setting and sew....it will just start ruffeling!

.) Pin and sew the ruffles to the front of the collar. YOUR DONE.
