Here is another favorite of mine....yes because its plaid but that's not the only reason. Not because its comfortable because after a day of wearing it, the tight waist can get annoying. The reason its a favorite is because sewed this cute jumper from an old plaid skirt my mom didn't want. It was to long for her already and I am a head shorter than she is sooooo it was way to long for me.
I had seen >this< dress on some site (I can't find the original site) and last February decided to try my hand on sewing me this dress. I wanted pleats and I knew it would have to be sleeveless.... I worked on it for about a week: sewing, undoing, sewing & undoing till I finally was done.
What do you thing?

It looks lovely! I love the colors of the plaid...and, well, I just love plaid period, so that certainly won me over. I also really like the style and the cut. Very cute!

ReplyDeleteThank you! No, I did not have a pattern. For the top I had a T-shirt pattern that I kinda followed but the rest I really just did on my own... it took alot of time and undoing my stitches!
