How to Make a Christmas Card on PicMonkey

Have you heard of PicMonkey? I had been wanting to make a Christmas card and wanted to do it with my digital scrapbooking but thought I would do everything on picmonkey and show you what I did....I encourage you can play around and see what what all you can do!!!

1. Click on "Create Collage"

2. I went on the "Layouts" and "Cards". Here just play around...see how many pictures you want to use and if you want a tall card, a long card or a normal sized card.

3. After you decided...upload your pre-edited pictures and set them in the squares where you want them. Move them within their box to get them perfectly centered...I used all black and white but color would be nice too

4. After I had my pictures in I went to "Textures". Here you can add different papers they have available or maybe you have something else you want to use? I used a digital scrapbooking background from >here<

5. This is optional but I removed the spacing...

6. I saved my card to the computer and then uploaded it again as "Edit a Photo" to continue editing it...

7. Right away I clicked that "P" to add my Text. Be creative...be you...last year I had both English and German Christmas Greetings.

8. Once I had all the Text I clicked on the little snow flake and then on "Winterland"....Have fun...add all the pretty things...well I guess only the things you can get free. :)

And here is my digital Christmas card! :)
Now you can print it out at walmart or walgreens or DM or....

PS...If you make one please email it to me so I can see it too! :D Write me at thebluebirdhouse @ ymail (dot) com

  1. I tried to make my card with PicMonkey, but got a little frustrated since I wasn't able to change the size, and I had a very specific idea in mind. But yours turned out great - love the color choices!

    1. Hmmmmm...You should be able to pull the sides to the size you need. Under the picture it tells you the size...mine is 2400 x 1200. I normally like creating my cards on power -point and sometimes even Picasa...there you can set the sizes to general printable sizes.

Thank you for the compliments. :)
