How To Center Post & Date Titles

OK....so I accidentally hit publish. Did the pictures to this tutorial a LONG time ago but never got around to explaining it. So here we go.


I love having things centered and if you like your titles centered on your blogger blog here is a quick fix.... less than 2 minutes.

Go to your Blogs account. Click on →Template and then on the orange button →Custamize.
Now you will see →Advance on the top left.
Now look for →Add CSS

Here is where you will paste the code you see bellow:

  .post-title {
text-align:center;
}
.date-header {
text-align:center;
}

If is doesn't change right away just hit the enter button and you should see the post and date titles go to the center.


Did it work? Looks much better doesn't it!?

How to Design a Blog Header in PicMonkey

Go to PickMonkey and click "Custom". Choose the sizes you need.

Add "Your Own" pictures.

Add your words...make it unique.

The skinner the header...the better. So CROP away.

Don't forgot.... save  it as a PNG

You got yourself a newly designed header!

How to design a Blog Header in PowerPoint

Creating a header that matches your blog & what it is about is VERY important. It makes your blog standout from the millions out there.

So over the next few weeks I'll be showing how you can design your header in 3 different free programs.

Write in your CUSTOMIZED header SIZE. The bigger, the better quality & DO NOT make your header to high....you want people to see your header, tabs & blog post title when visiting your blog.

Add PICTURES and resize them in any way you need too.

Add YOUR BLOG NAME in any layout you want.

Use readable but DIFFERENT FONTS for personal style.

Two {Custom} Blog Designs

Today I wanted to share with you two blogs I designed last month. Both ladies were awesome to work with and gave me some new experiences working with & getting to know total strangers....and decorate their home on the internet.

Savvy Working Gal was very open for ideas. After giving me a few other blogs as examples I came up with this design which she loved right away. After a choice of about 5 colors she decided for this purple blue design.

Mary-Andering Creatively wanted something that would match her love for writing and her love for roses. I decided to use my photography skills in the process and with a bit of imagination, old books, pink roses and red nail polish I had a great header and colors to work with.
