How to give your room a pop of color
Want an explanation to each room?
I love how they show the the same exact corner with different color combonations and styles....and how much it changes the feel of the space! It just shows me...don't be afraid to use color!

Happy Birthday Giveaway

This week is my birthday week and I thought I would not only celebrate it with my family and friends but with my favorite blog people. I write about so many things on here and then I also have my fashion blog but there is one thing in common: Most of my readers are ladies! ☺ And what do all ladies like....beauty. Don't we all strive to look and feel beautiful.

So I am giving away one sheet of Jamberries! To be honest I have never had Jamberries myself but I totally love them. ☺ Two reasons I have not gotten them: One, living in Germany makes it a little more complicated and two, I am not allowed to wear any nail "polish" in school. Maybe I should get some for my summer break in a few weeks!

Here are a few of my choices!

Icy Polka // Soiree //Vintage Chic
Nautical //Red & White Polka// Navy Stripe (glossy)
Punchy Puff // Whisper // Teal & white Polka

MM || 5 Blue & White Livingrooms

I love blue and white....blue and white anything! Blue and white is so freshing and calming. With blue and white you can just about add any pop of color....red, yellow and green are some of the most popular colors. Coral, gold, turqoise and hot pink are trending, too.

Here are 5 basic but beautiful livingrooms:

Date Theme || Italy

So we are trying this idea from Dating Divas. The idea is for you to have a date night once a month and theme is eating food from a different country each time. We've not been very faithful but I thought I'd share our Italy theme.

It was a last minute decision....on the last day of the month I had a long weekend and I said "let's do it" and so we did Italy. I made some Italian rolls (which turned out amazing) with Salad as our entree. The main meal was Creamy Lemon Shrimp Pasta....it was delicious! For dessert we had "gelato"....it was simple vanilla ice cream with caramel syrup.

While we ate we listened to Italian Music and afterward we watched "The Italian Job"....we had never heard of or seen this movie before. We enjoyed it.

The date night was great and relaxing and our Italian dinner was incredible even if I cooked it. lol

Do you like Italian food?

Monday Moodboard || Yellow Navy Grey

For the details to the picture visit Cape 27 Blog!
I would like to try to share moodboards, make my own or share style ideas every Monday....if I can. My most favorite thing to look at on pinterest is rooms & decorating ideas. It is my love and passion and why not share the best ones with you here. I always enjoy it when bloggers put a collage together. Do you?

The reason I decided to start with this one is that it is very similar to my living room colors. I also chose navy & yellow. I like the more brighter colors but the ideas still work. The grey here would probably be more tan/white for me. I am actually looking seriously into getting this couch. I've loved this couch for years now and saw some good deals on our German site similar to craigslist......I totally love the carpet in the above moodboard! And maybe I should get some yellow curtains.....

So what do you like about this room?

Honeymoon || Last Day

On our last day we wanted to eat in a more fancy restaurant. I think we should looked around a little more because even though our hotel's restaurant was 3 stars & expensive it was not THAT classy....we were so dressed up but they (tried) to hide their smiles and served us well.

Don't we look like some spy couple? :D

Honeymoon || Day Six

On our last full day in France we again stayed in Sisteron (saving energy for the 10+ hour ride home). This time though we went to tour INSIDE the Citadel! The entry fee was not much and they had so many signs & even these "talking boxes" that would tell you one or two radio drama type stories of the Citadel! Super cool!

Honeymoon || Day Five

The Lavender Museum was next. The Provence (area in Southern France) is known for it's lavender fields and so we knew we definitely wanted to do something with lavender. Sadly we came after the lavender was harvested but this museum was very interesting!
