I had a great time at my bridal party Friday night. Many of the ladies
came out to celebrate with me. We had a short devotional with words of
advice to keep my marriage together.....afterwards we enjoyed some
fellowship with fun games and food.
I especially loved how the decoration turned out....Do you?
I know, one normally say peeps....and that would match my Birdhouse blog but it's so overused by none birdy blogs....so I thought chirps would work....
Anyway, I was in Tennessee for around 2 months. A long time visiting....I know! It was a good visit though. Of course being with Patrick every single day is just plainly WONDERFUL....would be bad if I thought so otherwise since we are getting married soon!
During my 2 months there I really got to know Patrick's family. I stayed with them the entire time and helped them move...twice. It's a long story.... let's just say they kept me busy. ☺ They felt so bad about it though and I just said "What a better way to get to know your new family than being in the middle of stress and seeing everything they own!!" ☺
So other than moving I got to do a few things here and there, like.....

And lastly I got to be a part of Cornerstone Baptist Church's famous Music School!
Can't believe I condensed 2 whole months into one single post but here it is! It was a crazy busy time but I enjoyed every minute of it. During this time I not only got to know my new family but many of Patrick's friends & acquaintances became my friends too.
So tell me....what have you been up too? When I don't blog I don't here from ya'll either!!
Friends of mine found this beautiful dress at the recycling center and thought of me.....it was a bit to big but after taking the sleeves off, sewing it smaller and the sleeves back on it looks like it's been sewn just for me! When I saw the dress I knew it would be the perfect Easter dress. The floral pattern & colors are so beautiful.
This Easter I played "Abba Father" in a string quartet with my good friends. We all were nervous and shaking but people enjoyed it. The sermon was really good as well. Of course it had the gospel but also was provocative for us older Christians. Pastor preached on the proof of the resurrection....on point being the power of the resurrection in salvation. With the power of the resurrection we become new creatures...we can go through hard times with a smile...
We did not have many new guests but many return visitors. During the dinner on the grounds it was nice to get to know a few people a little more. Once everything was cleaned up Patrick, Brother B. and I pulled out our instruments and started playing some "bluegrassy" songs. People joined us singing and just having fun.
You can read our story <here> but today was special to us. On my churches first streetmeeting, of the year 2010, I saw Patrick for the first time.....today he stood there again holding that same banner. This time I was smiling at him and took a picture...last time I tried to see the "new guy" but not have eye contact. ☺

We fellowshiped with friends that afternoon....the best part ofit was Apples to Apples. ☺
Wednesday
Patrick started teaching Guitar lesson...in German! Hehehehe....now he can practice his German and make money!
Valentines day
Patrick came with this beautiful single red rose. I love these velvety roses. I gave Patrick that heart collage you saw at the beginning of the Series. ☺ He never saw it before!
My Valentine nails....awhile back I had accidentally bought crackling white....so it was a challenge. I acctually wanted a heart on my ring finger but it didn't work and I just worked with my mess and made what you see above. The heart on my pointer my mom helped me.
Before we went on the date I had Patrick and I take a few pictures in front of my piano. Here my two favorites.
We went on a double date with a couple from my church. Together we went to the Chinese restaurant. Patrick and I tried something new, shared the plate and both ended up super full! It was duck and chicken, with soybeans and the Chinese egg noodles. Yummy! As a pre-dish we ordered crab chips and spring rolls. I LOVE crab chips!
After wards we wanted to do to Starbucks but they were closed so we went to McDonalds. Here in Germany they have Mc Cafe....I never have ordered anything there but I was looking at what they had when Patrick said he wanted hot chocolate....I looked and they had WHITE hot chocolate. Of course we both wanted to try it. Patrick got the big and I got the regular sized. The hot chocolate was really rich but really good.
Isn't my boyfriend so handsome? I love that hat and now his new beard.....cute!
Friday
So it snowed over night again.....everything was white white white.....here is a clip of Paxton catching snow....I took some beautiful pictures which I'll share with you next week!

The Giveaway was sent off too....I am excited for Morgan to get it!
While I was at the post office to send the Giveaway off I also picked up something I ordered a few weeks ago....a Calender of Patrick and me. I did one last year too and this one I got 70% off and only cost € 2.99 plus shipping! Its really beautiful and will be fun looking at last years memories every month.
Look what I have been collecting! I love these dishes and though finding
an entire new set can be a bit costly I saw an idea online that you can
collect various things and still goes well together....So what do you
think? Beautiful is it not?
Getting a visa....is not so easy. I told you guys <here> about the meeting.... that she told us Patrick was getting one but that we didn't know what kind of visa or for how long. Acctually we still had to bring a proof of income and when Patrick went to pay and bring the papers they told him they already had it!!! Were we surprised! Of course he didn't have his passport on him so he had to wait till the next day.....
Friday, between classes he went to pick it up.... She gave him a residence permit till Oct 17th. This is an answer to prayer. It does not give him permission to work but we can continue to pray and see what the Lord has in store. The Lord can change hearts and minds....we just need to continue to pray and have faith.

My Birds
My one green bird (I know....after the series I will properly introduce you to them all) came to visit me in my bedroom. I brought her back to the cage thinking she might just not know her way back to the cage but nope....soon she came flying in with a crash landing....her style...and sat right back on the little blue stool by the mirror. There she sat all day (leaving poop) till I brought her back to her cage at night...and quickly closed the door behind me. That day she was all together fun....she sat on my head for the first time. Sorry you can't see her head but its a selfi.☺ And she sat on my jewlery box.
Snow
Its been really weird weather. It snows, it rains, it melts, it snows, it freezes, it melts, it hails, it snows....yeah, really strange but today I looked out of my window and just had to share! I LOVE big snowflakes.
MAIL!
I love mail...and this was a big surprise. I had told you that I had a pen pal... now she diligently reads my blog but today she surprised me not only with a letter but with a CUTE CUTE booklet. I am totally in love. I think I shall just sit and stare at it. ☺
