Courtship turned 2 years old

Today is a special day...we have been courting for two years. Combining all the visits, we have only been together for 4 months of the 24 months dating. Even though its been a long distant relationship our love  has only gotten stronger.

Read  {Romance Begins}  to see how this relationship got started.

Here is how we celebrated this wonderful day.

Gifts for this special day:
Beautiful bouquet of roses
Surprise!!!!

Here I was trying to get a nice picture of Patrick...

What else we have planned:

Today we enjoyed tacos for lunch/dinner and Oreos with milk for our desert. Played a few games on Pogo as well as on Skype. Well on Pogo Iris ended up spending all her points to go "shopping" for her pogo-person. (Iris- I love shopping & this kind is cheap). Now we'll continue our Bible study on faith and watch a movie!

Happy Saturday,

  6. When my husband and I were dating, we spent a long time apart, too. When I was in Denmark for 4 months, I felt like God really used that time to help me grow in trusting my future husband.

    1. Since LDR forces you to talk you really get to know each other better and grow closer. Thank you for stopping by!

  8. You two are adorable and inspiring! My hubby and I had a long distance relationship too, but it only lasted 8 months before I was able to relocate and we married. Praying for many blessings for you two and will enjoy visiting your blog and seeing how you grow :)

  10. I love how you are making it work!! I love the creative ways to keep the spark alive. So important even if it is not a long distance relationship. My hubby works away from home so we have come up with different things as well. We often fb each other crazy messages and lately it has been talking in different languages to each other with the help of google translate.
Way to keep it working for you two!!

    1. Probably all couples do crazy things together but even more so when you're apart. For a little while I would write Patrick in Gaelic with Google translate. Lots a fun! :D
